The April 2025 Regional Update from the Afghanistan (ES-NFI) Cluster

This report presents a comprehensive overview of humanitarian assistance delivered across Afghanistan. Between January and April 2025, partners reached over 229,000 individuals—21% of the annual target—with life-saving shelter and NFI support. Despite significant achievements, the response continues to face major challenges, including underfunding and increasing needs from natural disasters and returns. This report details region-by-region efforts, needs assessments, response activities, and critical gaps, highlighting the collective impact of partners and the urgent need for sustained support to address shelter-related vulnerabilities.
