The AFG-Winterization Response Dashboard as of March 15, 2024, highlights the concerted effort in Afghanistan to address winterization needs among the vulnerable, including IDPs and returnees, against the winter's harsh impacts. Managed by the Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items (ES/NFI) Cluster and over 15 partners, the initiative has assessed 795K individuals, aiming to aid 637K in high-priority areas. With 6.3 million identified as in need, the response has successfully reached 684.6K individuals with essential supplies like shelter kits, blankets, and winter clothing, marking substantial progress in safeguarding affected populations during the winter season.
