Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI) and Shelter Cluster Bangladesh have developed the housing design considering the geographical context of northeastern part of Bangladesh. The region witnesses of devastating flash flood in 2022. HBRI’s technical experts visited the community and based on the existing housing pattern the housing design has developed. The design is flood resilient and developed for marginalized population. The environmentally friendly materials are used to develop the design.
