The humanitarian crisis in Burkina Faso is very dynamic. Displacement is continuous with most households forced to move multiple times. This document shows how the Cluster tries to track, in a cumulative manner, the Emergency Response provided by its partners to the IDPs who have been displaced in 2022. In it you will find the following:

1. The key figures.
2. The response coverage in the communes for the shelter and NFI response. Emphasis is placed on communes which have received new IDPs in 2022 but no shelter or CRI response has been provided. The coverage at the regional level is presented in terms of percentages.
3. The weak mobilization by partners for shelter solution as compared to the to the significant mobilization for the NFI response. It is clear more has to be done for the shelter emergency response.
4. A table showing the number of emergency shelters and NFI kits needed for persons of concern displaced this year. 89% of estimated shelter needs have not been covered.

N.B: The number of displacements is being tracked and this should not be confused with the official statistics of the number of internally displaced persons in Burkina Faso.
