Greetings everyone! As you are probably aware, today we celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Every year, this day is marked to increase awareness, promote inclusion and recognise the achievements and contributions of persons with disabilties. 

This year's theme - fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress - speaks directly to our work as a community of practice. Our goal is to make sure shelter and settlements programs are not only safe, but also inclusive for everyone. 

One way we can do this is by using and sharing practical tools. Don't forget that All Under One Roof is one of our key guidance documents for the sector that was developed collaboratively to support more inclusive shelter and settlements programming.
