The Sector has served 511,973 people with emergency shelter and durable shelter support. This is 169% of the 303,385 target beneficiaries we set in 2017. Most of these beneficiaries were recipients of IDP settlement support, rehabilitation of community infrastructure, and repair of damaged houses. The majority of them were located in Al-Hassakeh and Ar-raqqa governorates. Overlapped with the extent of severity, most of this year’s shelter support have served communities facing major and severe problem.
