Fire Safety T.Sub-CoP webinar - June 3, 2025

The purpose of this meeting was to reflect on the challenge of institutionalizing fire safety in humanitarian settings in our rapidly changing global context. This included:

  • Revisiting the strategic recommendations from the “State of Fire Safety” and “Fire Risk Reduction Guidance” for the Global Shelter Cluster you can find on the Fire Safety Resources | Shelter Cluster Toolkit.
  • Assessing what is feasible in the short, medium and long term.
  • Considering alternative approaches to advancing fire safety amidst ongoing
    institutional and operational challenges.
