This document is a compilation of some of the technical questions most commonly raised by agencies during the emergency and recovery phases of the Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda response in the Philippines from November 2013 until November 2014. It is recommended that shelter agencies use this document as a general guide, and in conjunction with the services of certified construction professionals such as civil/structural engineers and the advice of relevant Philippine Government Authorities.
