The Global Shelter Cluster’s Shelter, Cash and Markets and Markets in Crises (MiC) Communities of Practice are pleased to invite you to an interactive session on Market Based Programming (MBP) and Shelter on Thursday 29th September at 13.30 – 15.00 (CEST). The session will introduce attendees to the recently finalized guidance note on Market Based Programming (MBP) and Shelter, as well as share practical examples of MBP in the shelter sector, and provide space for learning and exchange.

The Market-Based Programming and Shelter Guidance Note was written and compiled as a joint collaboration between the MiC Community of Practice and the Global Shelter Cluster’s Shelter, Cash and Markets Community of Practice as part of an ongoing effort to improve understanding of market-based programming in shelter and housing. The guidance offers practitioners a short overview of Market-Based Programming and its potential application in humanitarian shelter programming.
