Launch of the inaugural webinars for the Technical CoP - Save the Date - February 12, 2025.
Background, objectives and agenda of the webinars
The new GSC Technical Community of Practice (CoP) was officially launched on October 8, 2024. As part of the launch, we conducted a survey to identify thematic priorities, which was completed by 184 participants. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed.
We are excited to announce the launch of the first webinar of the Technical CoP on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Objectives of the Webinar:
This inaugural webinar will:
- Share the survey results.
- Collect feedback and gauge interest from members.
- Establish sub-thematic groups.
- Define effective communication approaches.
- Collect ideas for the development of the work plan for 2025.
Proposed Agenda:
- Introduction to the Technical CoP and GSC website Technical Resources.
- Presentation of survey results on thematic priorities.
- Participant feedback and discussion.
- Member involvement (e.g., lead/co-lead roles).
- Communication channel selection.
- Next steps and conclusion.

To accommodate participants from different regions, we will host two identical 90-minute webinars on February 12, 2025:

The Shelter Cluster Technical Community of Practice (CoP) is a platform for sharing and exchanging knowledge, information, and expertise on humanitarian shelter and settlement programming. It brings together individuals with expertise and interest in technical aspects of shelter response at global and field levels.
