Dear Technical CoP colleagues,

Following discussions during the GSC Damage Assessment Technical Sub-Community of Practice (T. Sub-CoP) inaugural meeting on 28 August 2025, participants initially proposed creating a dedicated sub-group to support Shelter Clusters in Palestine/Gaza and Ukraine. After further consultation, it was agreed instead to establish a pool of experts, providing technical support on a voluntary basis to specific Technical Working Groups (TWiGs) upon request. 

We are launching a survey aiming to identify interested individuals and gather information on their technical background. The profiles of selected experts will be shared with the relevant Shelter Cluster Teams (SCTs). Depending on the TWiG topics, some may be invited to participate remotely in meetings and/or contribute to the review of technical documents.
