As part of the USAID-BHA grant, the Global Shelter Cluster is recruiting Roving Cluster Coordinators and Roving Information Management Officers.  

The GSC continues building its capacity to ensure predictable and consistent cluster coordination at country level. This is being achieved through the deployment of surge capacity from the global level when new clusters are created or when there is a new emergency in an existing cluster. These positions are a key component of the support services to the field to ensure experienced Coordinators and Information Management Officers are readily available at short notice and for essential immediate capacity until a long-term replacement is deployed to support cluster operations. The funding from USAID-BHA will enable the GSC to recruit this roving capacity until the end of September 2022. These positions for the GSC will be recruited by NORCAP and seconded to the UNHCR Global Shelter Cluster Section. The roles consist of two components, with field deployment and work from home. The deployments to the field will be determined based on needs and requests, most often at short notice.
