NWSW Shelter Cluster Meeting December

Summary of action Points from the meeting

  • Those engaged in Emergency Shelter Kit programming to make use of the follow up aspect of the tool to ensure that the Shelter Kit is used and installed correctly and corresponds to an emergency shelter use. Do this by clicking "After Distribution" on the tool.
  • Agencies who are going to be using the post distribution monitoring tool in January to refer to the tool online or request the Shelter Cluster team to share the XLS for incorporating into agency specific forms.
  • Shelter Cluster to share the template for the MoU for Rental Programs drafted by the HLP AoR and share with partners for their feedback and requests for adaptation.
  • Shelter Cluster to circulate updated 5W tools for partners to update their activities: West and Littoral will be for the first time included, so please reflect back to your activities for 2022 when Blaise next sends the request for inputs.
  • Shelter Cluster Partners to remember that sharing PLANNED activities is equally as important as reporting on achievements. Planned activities ensures better coordination and is a good way to prevent duplication of assistance.
  • H4BF, SHUMAS/IOM, and NRC to coordinate on interventions in Donga Mantung. SHUMAS/IOM and H4BF should ensure that plans are communicated to the 5W tool.
  • DRC is cleaning the needs assessment data from the HH tool and will share with the cluster in the next week or so.
  • Shelter Cluster to continue advocacy to OCHA and IOM to make use of the standardized pcodes and village forms that the Shelter Cluster drafted for better clarity in the next round of the Multisector Needs Assessment.
  • Shelter Cluster to share the list of villages with WFP/SUDASER so that they can use it for the WFP targeting exercise and ensure also that villages are spelled correctly.
  • Partners submitting photos for use in the facsheet or in use for online on the Photo Tool to take landscape photos.
