Global Shelter Cluster
GSC-Achievements-Report-Mid-Year-2023
In the first half of 2023, the Global Shelter Cluster (GSC) continued supporting the work of shelter clusters activated
in 30 countries, collectively reaching more than 12 million people with shelter, non-food items, and settlements
interventions. With a constant increase in the number of displaced people but also the protracted nature of displacement
over the year, the GSC is currently responding with a range of approaches according to the context of displacement
through more than 1000 partners (1058) across 30 responses. This mid-term report, covering January to June 2023,
specifies priorities and achievements of the GSC at the global and country levels while highlighting key data on the
impact and extent of interventions.
