North-West Syria Hub
Technical Guidance
S/NFI works closely with its coordination team, Technical Working Groups (TWG), as well as with its SAG and Friends of SAG members, and other clusters to develop technical guidance relevant to the North-west Syria context. These are living documents that are created with the aim to support and guide cluster members, they are not mandatory.
With the view of addressing more specialised issues, S/NFI has set-up multiple TWGs, made up of a range of experts in their respective fields. These TWGs have been created in response to the needs and context and are adapted accordingly. S/NFI also participates in TWGs led by other sectors, such as the Protection Cluster-led HLP WG and Inclusion WG, as well as the Assessment and Analysis WG, and the Cash WG.
There are currently three active TWGs led by the S/NFI Cluster:
- Communication and Advocacy
- Gender and Protection in Shelters
- Dignified Communities
