By the end of January, the Shelter, Energy and NFI Cluster reached 2,049 beneficiaries through partners interventions in communities’ spaces and temporary shelters.
The extension of the Humanitarian Response Plan for Venezuela 2024-2025 was published. For the Shelter, Energy and NFI Cluster, the plan aims to reach more than 800.000 people through activities in community spaces and institutions, delivering NFIs, and strengthening temporary shelters. 24 partner organizations presented 23 projects in the sector, requesting US$ 48,1M.

November 2023

By the end of November, the Shelter, Energy and NFI Cluster reached 28,814 direct beneficiaries and 472,169 indirect beneficiaries through partners interventions in institutions and community spaces providing essential services to population: temporary shelters, education, health, and community centers, among others.

October 2023

In October, Needs Assessment Workshops were conducted in Miranda, Zulia, Falcón, Bolívar, Delta Amacuro, Sucre, Amazonas, Apure, Táchira states and Capital Districts.  The preliminary calculations for needs severities based on the Shelter Severity Calculation Tool from the Global Shelter Cluster.  Severities and PIN calculations were adjusted based on discussions with experts.

The Shelter, Energy and NFIs Cluster Annual Report in Venezuela was released including the successful response from partner organizations, cluster strategic updates, and key challenges ahead.

January 2023

By the end of January, the Shelter, Energy and NFI Cluster reached 1458 direct beneficiaries through partner organizations and 365 indirect beneficiaries through interventions in institutions and community spaces providing essential services to population.    
As part of the HPC framework, the project proposal process for the bi-annual HRP 2022-2023 started. Partners submitted 36 proposals in the Shelter, Energy and NFI sector.  Proposals are under strategic and technical review by inter-cluster group for the 2023 plan.
