Almost 200,000 people were displaced in the month of August due to conflict. These were displaced mainly to Beletweyn and Bulo burte.

Most of the displaced have arrived in Banadir, Galkacyo, Dhuusamarreeb, Cabudwaq, Cadaado, Baardheere, Hobyo, Burco, Kismayo, and Baidoa districts. 58% of this population have mentioned shelter needs as a first or second priority.
